No More Reprieve
Zafor Pathan
Watching it all, I have grown weary—consumed by a rising storm within;
O Lord, no more reprieve—let the reckoning now begin.
Set ablaze the thrones of power, let a cleansing fire rise,
For they who trade in death and unrest wear falsehood as disguise.
Their arrogant flames of ruin have brushed the vault of the sky;
The earth is stained with blood, her waters echo a crimson cry.
No rain descends from heaven now—only the tears of the slain,
Yet these merciless souls perceive not a world drowning in pain.
To whom shall I speak my grief, when humanity turns away,
In an age where poison is poured into the light of day?
Upon the body of rights, they unleash relentless fire,
And crush to dust the homes of peace in blind, unyielding ire.
O Bearer of Earth’s judgment—restless stands my soul, undone;
The sky resounds with cries for justice no silence can outrun.
Behold the travelers of peace—how they are broken, cast aside,
Oppressed and driven into shadows where wounded truths must hide.
How long shall these corrupt hearts revel in stolen calm?
Let the drums of awakening thunder—let justice lift its arm.
One by one, let ظلم answer for what they have become—
And let humanity reclaim its breath from the grip of the inhuman.
