- Comment from author about the poem: I believe old people should be rewarded with living as long as they did, maybe we will have less angry “get off my lawn” type of people. As far as the youth goes, I hope to see more hope. Feels weird being in the middle of this early middle of this generation…

Now there is a dichotomy what of those in between? A thought provoking poem that made me smile in its irony and division. I'm old and I guess a bit bitter as well but then maybe it is my more youthful mind that is narcissistic. Good write my friend
