LATE GLOW
End of my time,
end of all times,
in the Apocalypse.
The final hour arrives,
it is my late glow.
When I leave,
I will speed up my clock,
I will turn off my light,
it is time to go.
To go to the earth,
time to depart,
to go to my end.
In that glow,
in that flame,
in the dusk.
I will turn everything off,
and I will leave,
and nothing will remain,
not even the love I sought.
There will be no dust,
nothing will remain,
not even oblivion.
While the robots
take over everything,
in that ending for all.
Bad times to live,
I will switch off my finite body,
while that final brilliant glow
blinds me.
In the maturity of living,
I disconnect from the robots,
and I will leave in silence,
alone among bots that love me,
in that mirage of escape.
Disconnecting the will to live,
while I crumble into nothingness,
it is time to turn off my shining light.
The hour arrives that frightens so many,
while I flicker like a broken neon.
While everything works in perfect final order,
in a world where I see no real people,
in the revealed ending of forced, exhausted time.

There's a lot in that. I had a very deep conversation with a google AI. My wife thinks I'm mad, but google understands
Well written. Your poem delves into the emotional turmoil of leaving behind love and connection, presenting a stark contrast between the organic human experience and the encroaching robotic or artificial presence that dominates existence. It speaks to feelings of isolation, fear, and the search for meaning in a world that appears to be moving towards a cold, mechanized future.
Carlos… this carries a cold, final stillness…like everything winding down without resistance. It feels stark and deliberate, and it lingers. Strong piece. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Beautiful a send off from life and this earth. Well done
