Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Friends, I’m doing my best to keep up with comments. 😅 I’m still current on my own poems and first replies on others’ work, but this season has been a bit of a twister. Figured I’d drop a quick note so you don’t think I’ve vanished or gone flaky.
Read. Write. Rise. Realize. 🤘💀🖤

why?
is it wrong to ask?
is it wrong to want to know?
no.
questions are not wrong,
unless they are the wrong questions—
even then,
truth reveals itself.
broken vessels
have no control over their state,
each one handled uniquely.
yet cracks merely reveal
what rests inside—
emptiness, a lingering shade,
or uncontainable treasure
beaming in regal radiance
from the surrounding light.

Good write T.
We only need the slightest crack in a curtain, to discover Popeye's antics. What are they? WCAT of course! lol.
Orchi… there it is 😂 just a tiny crack and suddenly Popeye is out here running covert operations behind the curtain… I knew something was off. WCAT has officially been notified and is now “investigating”… whatever that means. They would tell us but, you know, WCAT! 😂 🕳️✨🪞🙏
What is that rustling behind that curtain? What IS going on?! WCAT of course.
The WCAT TV or radio channel will give us all the answers. lol.
Beautifully written. Loved the allusion
Thank you so much, my friend. I am glad it delivered! 🕳️✨🪞🙏
Cracks reveal the inner parts of a vessel but also the refractions of outer light. A wonderful poem Tristan that has deep meaning to those that takde the time to reflect (pun intended)
Soren, this is such a strong read… the inner reveal and the outer refraction working together just deepens the whole thing. That image of light bending through the cracks… yeah, that resonates. You added something real to it, my friend… and I appreciate that reflection… pun absolutely intended 😄 🕳️✨🪞🙏
You are most welcome Tristan always a pleasure
Well written, a poem of questions. Your poem revolves around the nature of questions and the pursuit of truth. Your asking questions is a part of understanding our realities, and even when those questions are difficult, they can lead to profound revelations. This poem also touches on the themes of vulnerability and the inherent value within brokenness, highlighting that the imperfections we carry can reveal treasures within us.
My friend, this is a thoughtful read… the way you hold the questions, the search, and the value in brokenness all together just fits. That tension between not knowing and still finding something true… yeah, that’s exactly where this lives. I really appreciate you taking the time to reflect like this. 🕳️✨🪞🙏
I've always believed that curiosity and asking questions leads to intelligence but what do I know. 🤣
