Flowers In God's Garden

Ifika Sakari

We are like flowers in God’s garden

Each planted in His hands

Some bloom quickly in the light

Others take time to understand

We blossom from seeds to flowers. then wither.

Like a passing shadow, we quickly disappear.

There are so many flowers we can choose from

Like roses, daisies, hydrangeas, and lilies.

We are all beautiful in different ways,

With different gifts and personalities.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image.

Never think less of what you can do.

Flowers don’t overthink or worry

And you don’t have to do so, too.

Like I said from the beginning.

We are like flowers in God’s garden.

So do not fear your season,

Or the pace at which you grow.

The same God who planted you

Is the one who helps you bloom.

Reminiscent of the scripture of the lilies of the field that need not worry about being taken care of. Nicely written

  • James Michael

    Beautifully written with optimism.
