The feeling of spring

Tacchi, Charlotte

             The feeling of spring

The black squirrels turn chocolate brown. The sound of the chirps of the birds reminds me that a frown can be turned up-side-down. The snow melts from the treetops to the ground. I can’t get over how warm and happy I feel to the bone. The winter sadness leaves and welcomes the spring happiness.  Although winter was cold, I’m still going to miss it throughout the spring, summer and fall. So, to whoever is reading this just know, sometimes life’s meant to be cold.
