HUMAN LIFE

danieloptera

Born to die!

And in between?

Be a child, a teenager, or even an adult

Male, female, or something in between

Sleep, eat, study, play and work

And often just more work

Love

A confusing and overrated word

Or even an end to itself?

All this interwoven with trials, difficulties

And sometimes a great deal of pain

Painkillers to shut our eyes to reality

Drugs like alcohol and hard drugs as medicine to make us cope

We go on and it goes on

What is all this for and about?

To go on and make a mark on what?

What is more important: things or people?

Questions and more questions

Some with no answers

Can we help each other?

Be kind, hold hands, enjoy our times alone and together

Who knows what is correct

At the end, it may be just up to the individual

And an attitude to it all

And perhaps after all there may be no right or wrong

At least in this human life.

Indeed by nature's standards rights and wrongs are judged on a different scale. Nicely written
