Part 2: Full, But Not Fed

Xalvazora

You've been sweet to me,

Like a delightful treat.

You cared about me,

Loving me for who I am.

You made me feel emotionally full,

And I ate it up.

I consumed too much,

Not realizing what we had wasn't physical.

I require physical touch with emotional context,

You gave me emotional context,

But nothing physical.

You gave me something emotional,

But it wasn't real.

I realize what I crave.

The sound of a voice.

Touch that platonic love can't solve.

Being in their presence everyday.

I realize now,

What I'm craving comes in due time.

As I separate from what I thought satisfied me,

Opening the door for real romance.

Here the distinction of passion and real romance is made. Very nicely done with great understanding.
