Just Out of Reach

Kora

The air is choking me,

The world feels loud,

I am trapped inside

This fallible body,

Indulging in the

Delusion of time,

All the words

I want to say,

All the life

I want to taste,

Floating there,

Mocking me,

Right on the surface,

Just out of reach.

This poem definitely gives the feeling of things being just out of reach. Nicely written Kora

I understand this completely. I have a feeling, however that you will stretch and expand your limits and keep stretching…
          Go Kora, go…

            Thanks Uncle Dave 🤞♥️

Do not worry about being different. We are all different. Billions of people, no two the same. You take what you have and do with it what you can. Where there's a will......... There are relatives. Hey! It made me laugh. Hope you at least chuckled. Your poem captures what I'm sure you intended it to do. It grabs the reader (your very first line) and keeps them until your last, the heart of the poem. What's out there is out of reach to more people than the few who can grab it. Limits are set in many ways. Achievements are met in many ways. Go for the gold. Do it your way. - Loved your poem. - Phil A.
