Spirits whisper at Herod’s Masada

……..Is it Caesar or Jedidiah, beliefs or the pursuit of an empire, sire times is dire and we’ve walked that wire, all our foes have begun to tire, we sit in the center of a rosebud they now call the Middle East, we can overtake them with their false sense of wealth and fake states of peace, lead fake friends into a war but leaving them no spoils, not a single piece; I’d rather watch their destruction with the whore of Babylon while lying nude alongside her, on her softest fleece, to hell with those western beasts.

It is funny how beliefs color our vision. This poem speaks of one view. Nicely painted
