The teacher’s voice is just background noise,
buried under a bassline I’ve heard a hundred times.
I’m looking at the whiteboard but seeing a stage,
counting down the minutes until the bell
breaks the spell and sends me back
to the real world.
The teacher’s voice is just background noise,
buried under a bassline I’ve heard a hundred times.
I’m looking at the whiteboard but seeing a stage,
counting down the minutes until the bell
breaks the spell and sends me back
to the real world.

Nicely said, the feeling of being lost into ones world
One's mind retreats into one's own world in the interpretation of another's words. Nicely written
