And so, it struggled, ill-remembered
yet grows sustained by others,
it exists even in adversity
but not to the whim of shifting shadows.

Ideals and idols come and go just as shadows pass but one is always left with oneself. Let that light shine and cast its own shadows. Well written my friend
Thank you so much, dear friend πποΈ
Always most welcome
For me this is about human aspiration.Wanting more that Life can give. And so let the shadows drift because in the end you make your own destiny.I could br wrong here but that's life.
You gotta take it cause it won't be handed out on a silver platter or a gum bark for that matter. Thanks DWπποΈ
Arqios, I found myself thinking about ideas, communities, and even people while reading this. Things can be forgotten, overlooked, or tested, yet somehow persist because others continue to carry them forward. I really enjoyed that aspect of the poem. Wonderful write, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
And that is quite a valid thought to track along. there is quite a role for outliers and the othered in progressing and developing people and communities and ideas. Thank you my friendπποΈ

I get the feeling this is something that's Sustains us through the Ages . Hope maybe.
Nice! That's a poetic distillation I'll toast to any timeπποΈ
Daring to dream, and then working (with a lot of help from "someone"!) to see it materialize is a trip and a half, isn`t it? I`ve found all the "seven sins" are called in to play their parts in this work. Those "parts" being (necessary) opposition to the materialization of the dreams! What do you think?
Great write, Arqios.
Great imagery in few words. Good read.
