Never complained once when asked,
We complete all the monotonous tasks.
On edge some of them seem keep us,
Always moaning or making a big fuss.
No appreciation, they wear a black glove,
Whatever you do, it's never good enough.

There are moments that feel like this that one is only as good as the last thing they did. It seems a harsh reality and well expressed here
Thank you, yes, sad really.
Appreciate it.
You are most welcome
Heavy and hard hitting, like nothing is ever good enough. Well penned.
Indeed, thank you.
How I`ve struggled with "not good enough!" Where and when on earth did this assumption take root? I can only think it`s a symptom of separation. Which says something about me, and the so called "elite."
Yes, all by design.
A powerful poem. Your poem expresses the struggles of workers who, despite their efforts and dedication, feel undervalued and overburdened by the expectations placed upon them.
Totally, it could be employment or also family, friends etc.
Shaun, I’ve been in that space where effort just keeps getting overlooked. It wears on you over time…makes you question things you shouldn’t have to. This feels honest and real. Strong piece and extremely relatable, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Appreciate it, it is sad I guess to be undervalued.
Good write ET, erm SM. lol.
No E.T. here lol.
Agree with you. Some folks / bosses (maybe parents and teachers too) are hard to please
Thank you.
