When I go silent

BlessedbyGod

When I go silent - I’m fighting with myself,
It’s usually demons from my past, but sometimes it my health ,
When I go silent- I’m usually fighting an urge,
Of what , I’m not sure but something is on the verge ,
Maybe it’s a breakthrough or a downfall,
All that I know is that there’s a bright light at the end of the long hall,
Will I continue towards the light or succumb to the shadows in my path,
I will be drawn to the light or suffer Gods wrath,
When I go silent - the demons are trying to take hold,
Of my soul, my life, my mind — Lord it feels so cold,
When I go silent - bring me to the light
Give me your love , your strength , your heart and your sight
Take me to the place that I belong,
Warm me in your arms and sing me your Holy song

When I go silent it is because I am thinking
Some people think that I've been drinking
Others to me a sense of shyness attribute
But it is simply that I have nothing to contribute

When I go silent
‘Twill be the end of a long life.
A life of prolific writing,
Of little talking...
‘Tis what’s on paper that be permanent.
Even the net might not be perpetual :
Servers might one day erase thee :
Thou wilt go from live
To recent past,
To temporary “deletion,”
To eras’d...
Books are immortal :
‘Tis in them that we should leave
Our marks.
I have 105 of them so far...
Including 14 still being print’d...

When I go silent no words appear
If you could see my thoughts you would definitely draw a tear when I go silent I’m yelling inside probably trying to hide my foolish pride when I go silent please don’t judge if you do I hold no grudge when I go silent please just let me be me don’t try looking further into my family tree because this apple fell when nobody was looking at me

The devil may try,
till the very end.
... but he will never get you,
so long as Jesus is your friend.
When things seem strange,
and times feel odd,
always put on,
the full armor of GOD.
I know it is hard,
but it will not last forever.
Soon we and this,
earth will sever.
Jesus will bring us,
to live in peace
in our own mansion,
for eternity.
... but we have to endure,
the pain for a while.
