Her warnings

Maplespal

Excuses always given, no prevention, they can't make it stop,
they won't tell me why they're on top.

The angels deceive us.

Whisper their lies, twist the truth, they despise,
the angels haloed in disguise.

The devil, she warns me.

A twisted view of angels and demons where one that is normally on top now seems the bottom. Nicely said
