Light

Kora

I saw him as light,
With a single word
Enveloping me
As though his soul
Were the catalyst
Transforming life itself,
Into beauty and joy,
Love and truth,
Onyx, with the scarcest
Brush of amber
Each little passion
Softly illuminating
That shimmering gold
So deeply threaded
Throughout the corners
Of his heart.

I find you at every turn of my thoughts.”
