Prepared myself for a long walk ahead,
Know tonight that I'll be ready for bed.
Working up a sweat, seeing the grandparents,
Addicted to that physical exercise, I'm serious.
Lines of traffic on the journey back home,
Was glad to leave my car and go for a roam.

Shaun this poem is energized and activates the reader. Well done
You done that walk/run?! lol.
Like "Sweatin' to the Oldies". 🤣 RIP Richard. Shaun, this carries that everyday joy of movement and stepping away from the noise…trading traffic for something real and physical. That little humor at the end ties it together nicely. I’ve had those same moments…where the walk becomes the best part of the day. Well written, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
