S.H.I.T happens… and today it’s a good thing
The morning broke with tangled plans,
A coffee spill, a missed commute,
The chaos slipping through my hands,
An unexpected, stray pursuit.
The schedule shattered on the floor,
The best-laid logic fell apart,
I braced for stress—then realized more:
A sudden rhythm in my heart.
For in the wreckage of the day,
The messy, shifting, unplanned grit,
The clouds began to drift away,
And I found grace within the S.H.I.T.
Surprise has knocked upon the gate,
Happiness bloomed from the debris,
Ignoring all that I called "fate,"
Today, the mess has set me free.
For sometimes when the structure breaks,
And life refuses to behave,
It’s in those rare, unplanned mistakes,
We find the joy we dared not crave.

Excellent, the joy is in the journey no matter what tries to derail us .
Friendship, this captures that rare kind of day where disorder becomes something freeing…plans fall apart, expectations drop, and something better slips in. That movement from frustration to unexpected grace feels honest and earned. I’ve lived those flips before too…where the mess becomes the gift. You carried that beautifully. Well written, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
