7 months sober so far, learned a huge lesson,
Too much alcohol equals demonic possession.
Laugh all you want, I totally understand the scepticism,
This might be a long piece of poetry but please listen.
Want to know what takes over when you get blackout drunk?
Called spirits for a reason, I'm smelling some sinister funk.
Strange behaviour, either aggressive or overly nice,
A mind checks out while they attack our brains like lice.
For most people a few pints acceptable, totally fine,
I needed to quit altogether, was stepping over the line.
If you've ever seen Malignant you'll know what I mean,
Takeovers occur in real life, not just in a movie scene.
