निगाहें झुक गई होंगी
सुर्ख़ी छा गई होगी
सनम, दिल में कभी तेरे
जो ख़याल आया होगा

धीरे से धड़का होगा
धक‑धक सा शोर करता
मन बार‑बार चौंके,
कुछ बेकरार होगा

तुम भी तो आ गए हो
जिस राह हम खड़े हैं
किस सोच में पड़े हो
ये इंतज़ार क्यों है
