A lesson taught unknown, Susan my saving Grace

Joseph M Marion

A lesson thought that was unknown

He walked away, heart shattered, torn—

A man undone by love once sworn.

The break was brutal, fierce, and raw,

A storm that left him bruised bleeding and flawed.

Each day a drop of aching pain,

A silent drip, a slow refrain.

He thought his wounds the deepest scar,

A ruin vast, a fallen star.

But years would pass, and only time would show

A truth more bitter than he’d know:

She faced a mirror, cold and clear,

Where love for self had disappeared

Hatred that nobody knows that she now holds.

Her eyes, a battlefield of doubt,

A war within she could not rout.

False drops fell, but not from tears—

From broke hopes and buried fears.

The pain she bore, unseen, unheard

No whisperes      comfort, no kind word.

A solitude that none could share,

A heavy cross too much to bear.

One she done to herself with no one to care.

And in that space where shadows creep,

Where broken souls both wake and weep,

Comes wisdom, slow, like dawn’s first light—

The awful grace of God’s own might.

For pain, though sharp, can teach us all

To rise, to heal, to stand, not fall.

And in the mirror’s honest face,

We find at last suzan our saving grace.

Gifted by God who is our Lord.

Thank you my friend . Sometimes in the darkest hours of our life are creator sends a little flame in the darkness to let you know it's all going to be okay she is and will always be my internal flame and inside me
