Last good bye

Joseph M Marion

This will be my last goodbye,

A whispered breeze, a softened sigh.

No tears to fall, no words to bind,

Just memories left behind.

The roads we've walked, the laughs we've shared,

The moments when we truly cared.

Now time has come to part our ways,

To close the book on all our days.

Though distance grows and shadows fall,

Your light remains, it warms my soul.

In every dawn, in every sky,

Remember me as I say goodbye.

No chains of sorrow, no regret,

Just gratitude I won’t forget.

For every smile, for every try,

This will be my last goodbye.

I'm tired, I'm hurt, depressed .
