We took the wrong way to the sky
We aimed our dreams so high
It felt impossible not to try
We took the wrong way to the moon
We left thinking we'd be there soon
Like the cat who ran away with the spoon
We took the wrong way to the stars
We didnt realize itd be so far
Out past the reservoir
We took the wrong way to the sky
But we got here anyway.
