What's Left?

shadowbones

Houses burn to the ground

Buildings fall from grace

Fractured infrastructure

People roam

A moment in time that cannot be lost

A sentence without any thought

Something so great will not be forgot

Threat arise- ready for war

Devil is knocking on your door

Something inside so cruel and wrong

Treading through, it won't be long

A simple way of knowing life

Walking along so cautiously

As if there was nothing wrong

Sing your child like melodies

What's left?
