every year for a day

Sano

every year for a day,

I'm gonna remember you.

how clouds shifted away,

making the sky all blue.

your silver hands,

covering your laugh,

your the most demonic face,

and the most terrific smile.

I was for you back then,

I think i'm standing there right now,

as if you ever cared,

to even see my face around.

I still don't know if it was me.

that was a problem this whole time,

but I dont care because I know -

it wasnt meant to be,

the way I wanted it to be.

this was the problem,

or it's just me,

I'm willing to take this on me,

I am to admit that it was me,

it was me.

Clever word play in the beginning of this poem "terrific smile" this poem is built on opposites and works well when it comes to past attraction. Well done
