What’s Funny Now?

Seraphel

You talked like you were untouchable
like nobody would ever force your head down
and make you face what you are

All that laughter
all that noise
and now you can barely hold eye contact

Pathetic

You built your entire spine
out of other people’s attention
so the second the room went cold
you collapsed with it

I knew from the beginning
you were all performance
all teeth
no bite

You abide by something funny

So say it again

Louder this time

What’s funny now?

This feels like calling someone out for fake behavior. Well written
