In The Rare Old Times

Mutley Ravishes

Hi, I`m effort-less

Your grain I go against

Your tension headaches

Be slain

By me, your futility and anxiety

Your relentless scheming

I lay to waste

Wonderfully written this poem speaks truth about the stress of life and letting it go. Well done and a fave

Thanks, Soren. As a (self-inflicted) "sufferer" of trying too hard, I appreciate your comments!

Mutley, “Your tension headaches / Be slain / By me” really landed for me. There’s something almost incantational in the phrasing…like effortlessness speaking as both relief and conqueror at once. Strong write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Almost nothing beats the slaying of a tension headache!
