What Does It Matter?

Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Life is full of seasons. This is a season of transition for me, where I will be moving with my family to a new location. As such, with much logistics to consider, I am doing my best to keep up. Please know if I accidentally don't respond, it is not because I am ghosting or becoming distant. Once things settle after the move, I am sure life will return to some normalcy. In the meantime, and always:

Read 👓, Write ✍️, Rise 🌅, Realize 🤯.

Oh my, this is very very creative dear Tristan, and I'm telling you as a fellow human a fellow writer and a fellow cyber friend, boy you matter a great deal! Excellent play on words and a brilliant lay out! 🌹

    • Tristan Robert Lange

Teddy, this genuinely touched me. Thank you so much, my dearest friend. The whole piece really came out of wrestling with existence, identity, fragmentation, and presence in the simplest possible way…so your kindness here means a great deal to me. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

    • Friendship

What a profound impact you make! You shine brighter than any question in my mind, for your presence in my life is a treasure. Living next door to you would be a dream come true, but even from afar, your friendship illuminates my world. I'm thankful to have you by my side and to call you my friend. I wish we could share moments in person, but even though we meet as kindred spirits online, our bond remains strong. Though I don't see you, your existence radiates warmth, and I appreciate how you show up authentically on this site. Your presence is a gift, and I'm grateful that you never leave me wondering; you're always there. Your artistic talents, both in drawing and writing, inspire me to create and dream bigger. ❤️🌹❤️

Friendship…this genuinely means more to me than I can properly express. Thank you deeply, my friend. One of the beautiful things about spaces like this is how real human connection can still emerge through art, honesty, and shared presence across impossible distances. Your kindness truly warms my heart. I thank God for you, dearest friend. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

Popeye says 'The whole is more than the sum of all the parts (the sum of all the cans of spinach, that is!)'. lol.

        • Tristan Robert Lange

Hahaha, Orchi…Popeyeus Glug Maximus Solus clearly majored in advanced spinach metaphysics. Aristotle walked so Popeye could glug. I mean, it couldn't be clearer. Don't believe me, ask the GJs (Glug Jockies) on WCAT! 🤣🥬🍷🖤🙏🧩🌌

therefore: I think? more or less the summation? a summative existence? High time we unravelled what we were force-fed🕊️🙏

          • Tristan Robert Lange

Rik,, thank you deeply for this reflection. Yes…the poem was very much circling questions of summation, identity, fragmentation, and what remains once inherited assumptions begin peeling away. “High time we unravelled what we were force-fed” especially resonates with me because so much of existence feels like learning which parts of ourselves were chosen…and which were assigned. Grateful for your thoughtful engagement, my friend. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

Ergo cogito sum put it in the day cart. A great read my friend and loved the art and structuring of this work. It extends the meaning

            • Tristan Robert Lange

Thank you so much, Soren. Descartes was absolutely lurking somewhere in the shadows of this piece haha. I really wanted the structure itself to participate in the meaning rather than simply contain it. Grateful this connected with you, my friend. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

              • sorenbarrett

                You are most welcome Tristan

              • Neville

Very cleva indeed, in fact, maybe even more than merely cerebral .. it reaches out & makes the reader search for the write answer .. Neville 🖤🐈‍⬛🐦‍⬛🎵🖤👍

                • Tristan Robert Lange

Thank you kindly, Sir Neville. I’ve always loved works that make the reader become part of the process itself…where meaning isn’t simply handed over, but uncovered through movement, participation, and reflection. Grateful this connected with you, my friend. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

                • Thomas W Case

Feels stripped down to the bone—no hiding, just what’s left when everything else falls away.
There’s a stark honesty in it, like a man standing in the mirror with nowhere to look but in.

                  • Tristan Robert Lange

Thomas, thank you deeply for this reflection. Stripped down to the bone...yeah...that is very much the emotional and philosophical space I was trying to inhabit here…reducing existence and identity to something exposed, unavoidable, and painfully direct. Really appreciate this, my friend. 🖤🙏🧩🌌

                  • NafisaSB

a good and reflective expose which reveals something different to each reader depending on the way interpreted...
