Ode to The Lyricist Poets and Writers of the World
In whispered breaths and ink-stained hands,
You weave the threads of distant lands,
With words that dance on silent air,
You paint the soul laid bare and rare.
From dawn’s first light to twilight’s gleam,
You craft the fabric of a dream,
Each syllable a tender spark,
Illuminating shadows dark.
The lyricist, with heart aflame,
Calls forth the muse, invokes her name,
In verses soft or fierce and wild,
You capture truth, both meek and riled.
Your pens are swords, your voices wings,
You give the world its deepest things,
A mirror held to joy and pain,
A song of loss, a sweet refrain.
Across the globe, in every tongue,
Your timeless songs are ever sung,
From ancient scrolls to modern page,
You bind the past, the now, the age.
So here’s to you, the dreamers bold,
The keepers of the stories told,
In every line, your spirits soar—
The lyricists forevermore.
