Unrequited love

Ghoast

How beautiful could love be,

To make my hands shake, tremble when I see you?

To make me forget about my problems when you're around?

To make me feel lost in your smile and wish to never get found?

How painful could your beauty be,

To make me take detours just to see you?

To lighten my day just because we spoke today?

To know that the love I have for you can never get its way?

How painful could love be,

To make me break in tears because I know we could never be ?

To make me fall for the same lie to keep you closer?

To do everything in my will to make you smile,

While I die inside?

How painful could it be,

To know that it was never meant to be?

to have such love is bittersweet, to either tell or forever keep. I can taste the bitter tears

          • Ghoast

Tears that hold memories and lessons
For love is my path forward, my reason
            Even if it's our downfall
Humanity will always answer its call
