Happy Mother's Day to Mary, The Greatest Mother of All
Before the dawn, through shadows cast,
You faced the whispers of the past.
A virgin young, with heart so pure,
In a world so harsh, unsure.
The weight of news, so heavy, grave,
An angel’s message, faith to save.
Betrayed by doubt, by fear, by scorn,
Yet in your soul, hope was born.
A journey long, through night and cold,
With weary steps, so brave and bold.
No place to rest, no comfort near,
Yet still you held your child so dear.
The pain of birth in humble stall,
No royal halls, no grandest hall.
A mother’s love, so fierce and bright,
In darkest hours, your guiding light.
Through threats and trials, flight and fear,
You guarded Him, so precious, dear.
A sword of sorrow pierced your heart,
Yet never once did you depart.
Chosen by God, so brave and true,
A heart so tender, ever new.
You bore the Savior, gentle and mild,
The holy mother, heaven’s child.
On this day, we honor you,
With grateful hearts, so pure and true.
Happy Mother’s Day, dear Mary,
Our love for you will never vary.
