When the Pieces Fall

GenXer Sharon πŸ™πŸ€

We try to get the truth out to those who are in deep pain. Try our best to show love and support time and time again. So many that are lost and hurting with no where to turn to. Learned some were in their life to no longer trust even when one is telling the truth. So where does one turn when the pieces fall? How can one break through glass castle walls? How do we try to show lost souls the way? When we must honor free will; especially when one doesn’t want to hear what it is we have to say? When the pieces fall, and it’s not a matter of if it’s when; turn to His love; it’s the best place to begin. Until then those of us who want nothing more than to break through all the barriers around one’s heart; there’s much power in prayer; remain faithful; don’t allow the destruction of another to tear you apart.

  • Comment from author about the poem: It’s most hard to watch one you love and care for building walls around their life. All we can do is pray. πŸ™ There is a song by Rob Thomas titled Pieces. I think it’s one of his greatest and speaks so much truth about someone lost or suffering in silence.

This poem speaks to watching those we love build walls around themselves and speaks of the help of God to remove them. Nicely written
