Action, Faith, Outcome.

Orayne Smith

Did you do what you were told? Did you incline to discipline?
Did you ferment without mold? Did you refine to represent?
Does the same action produce different result with no alterations?
Have miracles worked without faith and supplication?

Don't be deceived, a stern warning to us all
God will not be mocked, incline your ears and hear my call
A man reaps what he sows, now do you see?
Your actions influence your outcome, not inaction or a thoughtful fantasy

You pray but don't work, that's being lazy
You dream, then don't act. Now that dream is hazy
You call and without response, but did act on that answer last time?
You crumble and weep in anguish; stubbornness repeats lessons, similar to any rhyme.

Look to the ants oh sluggard, what do you see?
Them thinking of all that can go wrong? or moving with all urgency?
When you interrupt the path, do they crumble and fall?
Or do they actively search for a way to pass the insurmountable wall?

Faith without works is dead, another warning indeed
Pray when your in the field, when you are actively planting the seed
Have faith when you see the drought, but search for water still
The spring you stumble on, may be in fact God's answer and his will.

Nicely worded and rhymed it sends a powerful message. Well done
