Now I reach

Maplespal

I fall further and further away,
distance the light, shadow my way,
coma my minds internal blind eye,
and for her hand I reach out to die.
Then I see and pull myself back again.
See your face, I remember your pain.
The promise I broke when I walked away,
and when I told you forever on that day.
When I reached.
