Unrepented

sorenbarrett

I a selfish dove, to wish for peace when so many hawks want war
Greedy as a stream, to share with weeds poor when the rich build a dam, water to store
I am slothful not to fight against the ants that want to bite
A beam, with too much pride to bend and let the storm inside
With gluttony my eyes devour the beauty of each blooming flower
On wings of rage watching justice in a cage

This certainly digs deep for emotions. All the deadly sins are covered here. There is a sense of despair that quite understandable. An interesting work amigo
