When the world feels heavy, where can one turn? Every where you look; there’s bad, what are we to learn? When the world feels heavy, what can one do? Just breathe? Or take a moment or two? When the world feels heavy, how does one go on? Through writing? Or listening to your favorite song? No one prepared us for times like these right? Wrong; His word speaks truth; His word brings light. The world feels heavy at times I’m sure for all; it doesn’t have to feel that way; don’t let it break you; don’t you fall. There’s good and beauty in the mess! Like finding comfort in His perfect rest. You’re here! Which means you still have purpose. His word reveals that we are all worth it! Spring has sprung!!! The birds are singing their tune! It’s staying lighter later; way past noon! Your life matters to the most high; He’s watching you and your family each and every night. Many things to be grateful for; when the world feels heavy; hold onto His love; don’t allow the heaviness to stay at your door.

Good write GS.
What's heavy for me, meanwhile, is this ball and chain KP has put on my ankle, and thrown away the key for me to get free! lol. That'll teach me.
Can these escapades be true? lol.
Noβ¦ I sure hope not. lol π
Yep, they\'re all true - probably. lol.
Nicely written this poem of support and hope when the times are difficult and the day is dark, when the world is heavy and a burden on your shoulders it encourages faith and perseverance. Nicely done Sharon
Thank you my friend
You are most welcome Sharon
It's wonderful. I have my share of bad days. Day's where I feel like giving up on life.
Those are the days that we lean closer to God. He knows what we need always.
Sharon, this reads like a heartfelt reminder not to let despair settle permanently inside the soul. Faith, gratitude, nature, purpose, and simple daily beauty all work together here to gently push back against the heaviness of the world. Beautifully uplifting piece, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
