How inopportune

Allie561

A bellflower caught in the snow

If only it had bloomed a few days later

It could’ve been avoided if it grew more slow

Maybe if the clock paused time

She wouldn’t be late to her interview

And would’ve gotten her position part-time

If he had just decided to stay home

He wouldn’t be a suspect

He’d be free to roam

Eviscerate the words in the book

That could’ve been stopped

If someone just overlooked

Allie, this has a haunting inevitability to it. Snow, missed interviews, suspicion, overlooked words…everything circles around timing, consequence, and the painful awareness that tiny moments can reshape entire lives. Strong piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
