Unspeakable Beasts Of Hunger In The Dark,
They Come Out When They Come Out.
You Must Not Be Found,
Where You Cannot Stand Your Ground.
...
Through A Forest Of Leaf And Green,
Crouch Silently Behind Mossy Trees.
Notch Your Arrow, For Tonight's Feast,
Because Now It's Just You And The Beast.
From Behind The Tree, Catch A Glimpse.
Don't Be Seen, Just Try A Peek.
...
For Now It Is A Matter Of Who Stands Fast,
Because This Monster Is Built To Outlast.
I Hope You Strike True, To Avoid Becoming Tonight's Stew.
I'm Sorry I'm Not There.
I Wish Good Luck To You, And Beware.

Nicely written. Your poem addresses the confrontation between a hunter and a metaphorical or literal beast, using nature as a backdrop for this life-and-death scenario.
A fun read that portrays the feeling of luck of not being there and wishing all others good luck
