through the years my culinary team
has tried to replicate
the dish we received
thank you to the country of Nidia
as mighty and united as you are
you still help countries like ours
small mighty and proud
but still open to culture, trade and food
are our recipes difficult for you?
please native spices do matter
but use what you can
it’s all we all can do

Although direct and strait forward this poem seems a metaphor as well where each offers what they can with their own spices that make it special. Well written
