A Rose

RSM0812

OH rose you are my simple red,

Lie up and down in your garden bed.

Petals stretched towards the sea,

Eternal love gracefully.

Your eyes are green, as grass it grows,

Upon the shores of sands that glow.

And simple thorns,

Protrude your brow,

I need my rose, I need her now.

How you dance, as storms do strike,

Upon the heavens will of might,

And true your kiss, of my repose,

I love you truly, my sweet rose.
