Father bring me
Joy
Because I am feeling down in
The dumps
Yes I need some joy
Badly in my life
Yes I must say that
I got very little sleep
Last night
And today I am still tired
I need more sleep
My father
Come you please let me
Go back to bed after breakfast
I promise you that I will be up by
Noon
I will also do some work for you
For a couple hours
Father I want to see you happy
I don't want to see you miserable
Also I will never let you down
If I make a promise to you
I will keep

Nicely written Poetaldo another poem of faith and prayer
nicely written. Your poem expresses a longing for joy and connection, highlighting a child's plea for understanding and support from their father during a time of emotional and physical fatigue. The poet seeks comfort and reassurance, emphasizing the importance of familial bonds.
