The First Breakup

Ksey_Gan

I stand upon the deck of the steamship,

Breathing in the scent of the sea cing;

In silence, I sing of my love mantion,

While my heart grieves with longing.

What the future holds in store—

I do not dwell upon such thoughts...

The Caucasus lies veiled by the horizon,

And the waves roll past the ship’s sides.
