Disguised as Fear

Gewar

I can't find the fitting words

to tell you

how I feel.

It seems like something familiar,

so close,

yet so unreal.

Like drowning in the deafening noise

I cannot hear.

Can't tell if I'm beaten up and numb,

or if I'm healed.

Is this how it should've always been,

disguised as fear?

Everything looks so distant now

when you're here.

It's like running to a dreamscape home,

yet not getting near.

Trying to break a trance, wake up,

and see it clear.

A questionable state with the reason unknown. A sense of loneliness comes with this poem
