The Evolution?

2781

Explain please,  it isn't clear.

Do we have all the knowledge near?

The search is on..what a shame.

The man might forget he has a brain,

a soul, and spirit too.

With all his knowledge,  what can he do?

Create a better ivory tower?

Use knowledge to get more power?

Put his nest among the stars?

Ruin earth, then off to Mars!

How did we go astray?

Answer that, if you know the way to bring heaven back to Earth, to find the rest that brings new birth,

Where the lion lays with the Lamb and war is no more-

All promises underscored.

Choked by the weeds,

the seed of evil doers,

But still the heart bleeds.

My leanness,  My leanness,

Man is set free;

With all their knowledge,

Leanness they leave.

All creation groans:

Where is manifestation?

Without knowledge,

man fumbles away.

Where are the intercessors?

What did he say?

"I found not one,

All have gone astray."

Vanity of vanities,

Man losing my way.

That's Evolution?

        Most welcome

My friend, this speaks to something I wrestle with often myself...how humanity can become so advanced outwardly while still starving inwardly. The repeated cry of “My leanness, My leanness” feels deeply human to me...like spiritual exhaustion finally finding words. Really thought-provoking piece, Valiantstar. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
