The Preciseness of Your Approximations
I thought you should know
I have always been
amazed at the preciseness
of your approximations ..
I even once thought you were
a tiny bit special maybe ..
But since you seem to wear
your heart on your sleeve,
I shall leave these words
here for you to stumble upon
sometime later perhaps ..
And where for now, they may
at least rest easy and neat
and for always set firm, upon this
magnificently understated
and otherwise seriously empty page ..

Love this poem Neville life is based on approximations, educated guesses, hunches you may say. A basketball shot, a cricket swing of the bat, the stock market, a word in a poem, a ventured kiss and sometimes it is a while before we see the results. A wistful and wonderful write that takes a time to soak in. a fave my friend
