Can`t trust the man in the mirror
Indeed preserve the seed
He
Don`t wanna be
Partaking in any of that
Elevation returning to the Source
Nonsense stay dense-
-ly
De-elevated

A poetic message sent in this short. Well done
Thanks, Soren.
Most welcome
Mutley, the way you break โdense- / -ly / De-elevatedโ apart visually is what stayed with me most. It physically slows the fall of the poem downward...like language itself losing altitude. Pairing this with Gravediggaz makes total sense tonally too. Excellent write, my friend. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
You got it in a nutshell once again, Tristan. Even though the rhyme sounds "negative," I was aiming for an uplift, even if, a little painful! Thanks for dropping by.
My friend, I think many people carry this exact quiet wish inside themselves...to find someone before whom they no longer have to perform, explain, or conceal parts of who they are. The simplicity of that longing is what makes the poem feel so real and human to me. Really moving work, Friendship. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
