ماییم که اصل شادی و کان غمیم
سرمایه دادیم و نهاد ستمیم
پستیم و بلندیم و کمالیم و کمیم
آئینه زنگ خورده و جام جمیم

The source of joy, the mine of sorrow we;
The wealth of justice, mold of cruelty;
We’re low and high, defect, perfection be;
