Japanese Cherry Blossom trees:
Valentine shaded petals drift down, gently carried down by the light breeze, taking the path to the floor.
Japanese cherry blossom trees, the beauty in nature that oh so wishes to be seen, a feeling deep down I too know to death.
Red-crowned cane’s and fish owl’s build their homes inside of a tree shaped, natural heaven, peaceful. Glistens in the sunlight, like a message, or a godsend. Unexpected, but not unwelcome.
Inside, the transience of life, embody true love and come to me. For I, I require guidance from the samurai spirit, wisdom in the past unknown.
Scent of spring, renewal in the change of seasons, uncertainty of time.
All things different, all things the same.
Japanese cherry blossom trees,
a beauty in the eye of the beholder.
Delicate, fragile peace in the hands of the innocent believer.
Time may change me, and everything around,
but I know the Japanese cherry blossom trees,
will always come back to me.

A beautiful scene painted in this poem where the cherry blossom is a symbol of impermanence and transient nature of life, of renewal and rebirth, beauty and the bushido spirit. Very nicely written
Thank you!
You are most welcome Micah
I realise I havenโt explained the sudden name change, or the sudden gender change, but thank your for using it without needing an explanation ๐
Most welcome
Yes! And it's cherry blossom season in Japan and probably elsewhere as well in the Northern Hemisphere. ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
