If we care for the world
And a nice secure future
Let us learn a lesson
To balance nature with nurture
Weave it in the fabric
Of our daily lives
Let us teach a lesson
To students and housewives
Unless you care for nature
With gratitude and care
We will have a world
That’s sadly vey bare
Be the change you seek
Stop being scared and meek
Our environment needs our aid
Or it will slowly fade
Use eco-friendly things
That flourishing flora, brings
It’s in our own hands
The fate of all our lands
So stand up, and do act
Let’s make a solemn pact
Let saplings take a birth
Let’s nurture Mother Earth
Let’s lend a helping hand
To rejuvenate our land..

A noble cause set in verse. Well written with great flow. If only our rivers would flow that well and be that clear. I consider myself eco friendly but I am not a fanatic in my eyes. I don't believe in recycling when it uses more energy than it saves, I would rather cut down on the number of people that pollute than destroy the life style of people in general. A wonderful write
An excellent prayer πποΈ
Nicely written. Your poem emphasizes the urgent need for environmental conservation and individuals' collective responsibility to nurture and protect nature.
Safina, this carries such genuine care and urgency through it. The poem feels like a heartfelt call for responsibility without losing its sense of hope. βItβs in our own hands / The fate of all our landsβ really lands as the emotional center of the piece. Wonderful write, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
