Valiantstar, “If the winners were the losers” is such a strong pivot point because it immediately reframes the entire poem around reversal and reckoning. The sparse structure afterward gives the final roar imagery even more impact. Excellent piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
There is a deeply religious belief encapsulated in this poem of a leveling of the field and implementation of justice in the end. Well written
